Why Sensory Bin?

Sensory bins promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional experiences ideal for child brain development. They aid in building fine motor strength, promote problem solving skills, hand-eye coordination, and support language development. Sensory bins may incorporate a variety of senses (i.e. touch, taste, smell, sound, and sight). While they can be messy, it is important children be given the opportunity to make meaningful connections with learning materials to bolster their creativity! Offering a great opportunity for children to learn pretend play skills, concentration, and confidence makes them a great option for the littles!
