Loose parts allow for endless open and imaginative play, Yumi at 15 months is in the early toddler phase of putting an object into a container and dumping it right back out. Through repetition and focus there is learning happening here! These are great material for arranging and rearranging, creating designs and patterns, and concentration. Play that lets them focus more on the process and not necessarily the end result.
