Music Basket

At this point I can’t even remember where I got the idea for Yumi’s music basket, but I knew I wanted her to have one full of toddler friendly instruments that she could play as soon as she was able to hold her own bottle! So this basket was the biggest hit as early as 6 months. Naturally, Yumi loved the tambourine, egg shakers, xylophone, and drum to start, all simple to use and make lots of noise. As she got older and learned new skills she moved onto the wooden whistle, harmonica, and the triangle, and so on and so forth. This basket sits on her shelf where she has daily access to it, and will go through, and rediscover an instrument she previously held no interest in or wasn’t capable of playing just yet.
