Q-Tip Push

IMG_9869.JPG

An extremely engaging developmental game for little ones! Yumi, at 16 months finds this type of work very interesting and honed in pretty quickly. Pushing the q-tip through the small hole requires a great deal of fine motor work, focus, and hand-eye coordination. It kept her busy for 30 plus minutes, so that’s always a win. All you need are q-tips, and an egg carton! You can also substitute q-tips for uncooked spaghetti noodles, and the egg carton with a strainer or colander.

As an added challenge: Cut one end of the q-tip so that it will only go through the hole if the correct end is pushed through. Yumi struggled a little to decipher the difference, but still powered through!
